Analisa Figueroa was born in Park Ridge, Illinois, in 1968. She is the daughter of Aurora and Reynaldo Figueroa. Analisa was first raised in Des Plains, Illinois, and later, she and her family moved to Brownsville, Texas. After Analisa graduated from high school in Brownsville, she moved back to Illinois. In 1986, Analisa was hired as a bank teller for Palatine Savings and Loan and attended night school at a community college. Within three years, at the age of twenty-one, Analisa became a Branch Manager of another local bank.
In 1999, Analisa received her BA from Northern Illinois University, and in 2003, received her JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She was licensed to practice law in Texas, in November, 2003. While in law school she was the recipient of the Dean’s Leadership Award and the Catholic Lawyers Guild Award. She worked for Texas Rural Legal Aid and participated in the Hispanic Law Students Association, Family Law Association, St. Thomas More Society, Moot Court Competition and the Civil Justice Clinic. Analisa was named a 2007 and 2008 Rising Star.
Analisa is proficient in Spanish and her hobbies include constructing and renovating residential houses.
