Super Lawyers® names Texas' top lawyers as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. 2006 Texas Super Lawyers is based on surveys of the more than 55,000 attorneys across the state who have been licensed to practice for five years or more. The goal is to select as Super Lawyers the top 5 percent of Texas attorneys in more than 60 practice areas. Texas Super Lawyers is published annually in the October issues of TEXAS MONTHLY, which has a readership of more than 2.4 million, and Texas Super Lawyers magazine, which is mailed to more than 73,000 Texas attorneys.
